Poor Cotton, I am sure she is wondering what in the world is going on with this stoopid human who keeps picking on her. I had to give her a pain pill this morning, and yes, my fingers are still intact but barely! LOL
Afterward, she retreated into the cat condo (bottom level) where she growled so loud the whole cat tree shook!
I am going to see several families this evening who are interested in her-hopefully one of them will work out and she will be able to finally have everything she has been lacking until now-
Yikes! Someone doesn’t take well to medicine. Maybe one of the families will take her; if that’s the case, would one of the other families – assuming they’re suitable – consider one of the other cats?
I’ve found a home for Promise- a little mackeral tabby with one of the families that wanted this Persian. This morning, Cotton is pooping out of the litter pan something she hasn’t done since she arrived here. I am thinking she is just so affected by every little change in her world and the spay must have upset her. That plus the meds they gave her. I have another family wanting her- will meet with them tomorrow night- but for now, I will watch her close. She did allow me to pet her this morning without warning me off so that is a plus. I just feel so sorry for her- what she had to endure just so someone could make money off her labor just burns my butt.
