Bud (shown below) was neutered yesterday and went online tonight about 30 minutes ago and already has 2 families waiting to meet him and bring him into their home. I will meet with the first family 10:30 a.m.
The good news is he also has a sister who is almost identical in markings to him, so if both homes check out as solid- they might both win the mack tabby lottery. Hobbit has not been spayed yet- she is still a bit underweight
What great news! I hope they both have homes!
I do feel blessed that three years ago a difficult rescue allowed me to meet a woman with a passion for the camera lens. She has since volunteered to take before and after photos of all the cats who come here at no charge! It takes a lot of work and patience to capture shots that will hopefully catch hearts, but Midge makes it work. She is 66 years old and we were talking the other day about the old style photography where you had to load the camera with film then have it processed and wait for the prints. Times have sure changed. My Dad was a commercial photographer as a hobby when I was growing up. His clients were all the high-end Hotels by Disneyland, Knox Berry Park and other attractions. I wish I had inherited his gifted eye, but that went to my oldest sister Gwen who recently won a cruise to British Columbia with her photo of a brown bear on an ice flow eating salmon. She entitled it Root Bear Float! LOL Her photos are incredible, mine look like a 7th grader took them. 🙂 My only claim to fame with photos was working as a “Fotomate” as one of my first jobs. Anyone remember those booths? LOL I think they have been replaced by coffee huts now!
what a cutie – hopefully both homes check out and two kittens will find their forever families
It’s good when they don’t wait long.
