Along with a garbage bag of recycled soda cans. They just lifted it out of the carport! I am heartsick because it is only one of two top-loaders that I had. I love the top loaders when you are dealing with the feral cats. It’s just so much easier to put them in through the top then in the side door. 🙁 Well I need to call the sheriff and report it I suppose. Although I am sure they have other pressing matters to attend to. Dang it all anyway!

Christine, thank you so much! There are two that will work and I put them on the wish list. They just have to have the top that you can see into- the plastic ones that are covered aren’t very efficient to use- plus they open funny and you have to be able to shut the door quickly before the cat escapes. I could hug you right now!
oh my gosh, we need to think of something secure so you can store things outside under lock and key, I will have to think on it.
The Caldwell type has a velco closure at the very top and cats can force their way out – I know, I have one and my escape artist was almost out in less than a minute.
