2. Is that an airlock? Close one door before the next is opened? An excellent idea. I regretted in my house not having one, to bar any escape attempts.

3. Yes, this is to prevent any escapees. I am tired of losing cats to the friggin road out front- but the old way, there was no way to prevent them from escaping- plus one of the locks slip from time to time. We lost sweet Turtle the other night- she was one of my escapees the tortie with the curly tail. 🙁 All our enclosures when George is finished will have these double doors. He is also making a trick trap to attach to the main enclosure. Once a kitty gets inside of it- the only way they can get out is when I open up the door into the enclosure and let them come home. My hope is with this special design, Chappy and Dash and Gadget et al will soon be safe and back inside.
