Kitty is still in the tree- this will be the fifth day. Travis is going to go there after work with his climbing gear and get the kitty. I told him thanks to the kindness of other cat lovers- CATS inc., can cover the cost. I talked to the owner today and told her to please if the kitty isn’t eating after it comes down to please take it to her vet. But if she can’t cover the cost of the tree climb how in the world will she cover a vet visit? I don’t know, but we have done all we can to insure this kitty won’t be in the tree after today. Thank you to those who donated money and prayers-
Good luck to the tree-cat.
Travis was a no show- the kitty is still in the tree. I did all I could to try to coax him down and hope in the morning with all the food I left for him- he will. Travis isn’t answering his phone which is strange because he has always been right there when I needed him. I was alarmed to hear the owners tell me tonight (I went to the home) that a cop told them that if they can’t get the kitten down from the tree by tomorrow the most humane thing to do would be to shoot it! They are bow hunters. I hope and pray the kitty comes down tonight on his own.It is a tomcat (of course) and at a year old, it should have never been let outside in the first place. 🙁 I hope they listened to me when I told them why they shouldn’t even attempt to do the “humane thing.” I told them if cats died in trees- we would have a lot of skeletons in trees around here.
Oh no.. purrs for the kitty and the people caring for it
