I got a call from a woman whose kitten is 30 feet up in a tree. He has been there for three days  and she is frantic. I told her I know someone who climbs trees like a  monkey and I called Travis and he went to take a look and told them he would do it for $40.00 because he has to use his climbing gear. They don’t have the money. I gave them some ideas of how to lure the cat out of the tree and I looked in our Kitty. We only have $15.00 left after making a vet payment. Anybody have any money lying around collecting dust I can give to Travis tomorrow morning to rescue this cat?

If so please donate. I can’t live with the fact that this kitten is so high in the tree curled into a ball and scared to death to come down. The problem with abandoned kittens (as this one is) is that they don’t have a mom to show them how to climb up and down trees. Same is true for kittens with mom who get sold or given away at 5-6 weeks of age when the “kitty magic” fades and people tire of their demands. If they stayed with mom long enough- she would show them how to climb and descend trees safely.
