I voted. Your friend is in the lead, I see. It’s a beautiful picture. I don’t know if one can vote twice or more. I will try again tomorrow.
Hi! I voted for Star!
I am turning 50 this year and during my birthday-month of October, instead of getting presents, I will be giving in any way I can to anything related to the welfare of cats. I am a “retired” cat rescuer. I still TNR in my backyard as I have two hav-a-hart traps. The work doesn’t seem to end.
On Wednesday, my neighbor’s 8-9 month old kitten will be brought to my house to stay the night (in large cat crate) and get neutered and vaccinated Thursday. Months ago, I had already talked to my young neighbor about the importance of spay/neuter and handed her a printed list of all the low cost spay/neuter places in our area. Apparrently she didn’t take initiative to call.
I don’t make alot of money as I am disabled and work 6 hours a week, caregiving & housekeeping. But I live in an area that has several non profit spay neuter resources for low income. I decided right when I knocked on her door that I would just pay for the appointment if she’d work with me rounding up the kitty wednesday afternoon. Sometimes the action of one gift can help a cat in need. I am a mom of many cats and yes, all spayed & neutered.
Thanks for your blog, keep preaching spay and neuter!
Blessings!????
Sorry about question marks(??) Sullivan the one eyed cat rubbed his tail across my computer tablet. Didn’t see the mistake til after I posted.
Blessings to you!
Blessings to you and thank you for what you are doing! You are taking the strain off a rescuer in your area who would undoubtedly end up with the kittens if the cat weren’t spayed. Some people are just so thoughtless when it comes to cats.
Thanks. I was mentioning on my Facebook page to my friends that since I have lived at this rental in Eureka, CA, I have gotten 19 cats fixed (all ferals) in 21 months.
