Whew. Step one. It looks like they are sticking close together in that second photo. I’m glad they have each other as a bit of familiarity in a strange land.
so good that they are eating, from what it sounded like the way they were living it may take a while to get used to the calmness of your sanctuary. I hope the young owners will be able to come by and talk to them once in a while. that may help to get them to relax.
