Sweet Kitty who if you told me when she first arrived here, she would one day not only be my number one lap cat but would eventually be adopted. I would have sat you down and put both my hands on your shoulders and told you that you are nuts! But, I just dropped her off in what I hope will be her forever home!
She has a whole family to adore her (once she decides to come out of hiding). Her room belongs to the 7 year old girl who reminds me strongly of myself at her age. She can’t wait to spend the night with Pretty Girl and my hope is that this transition will not overwhelm Pretty Girl and she will crawl up and lay on Tori’s chest tonight and find her peace.
The kids are young, but mom has good command of them and they listen to her and are obedient. So I hope they don’t all run into the room looking for the “new kitty” and scare her to death in the process. Time will tell-
She found a hiding place straightaway in a room where there were NO hiding places (that I could see) She smushed herself between the mattress of the bunk bed and the wall.
I am praying this will work- but Pretty Girl had a lot of demons. I hope I was able to put all of them to rest.
I just called to check on her and she has already been on the husband’s lap, let the family pet her and Tori has sung her a song and announced to the Mom that “Pretty Girl really likes me!” YAY! Her demons ARE now behind her~
Pretty Girl is home!!!!!!!!!!!! and what a lucky girl she is to have a whole family adore her and she has a song just for her. Have a happy life little one you deserve it! Great Job Mary Anne
Pretty girl is doing so well! She just absolutely melts my heart. She got on my lap this morning and she started purring while I was petting her. Yay! She is still hanging out in Tori’s room but she was down on the floor this morning and she explored a little bit while I was in the room before she went back up to the bunk bed. She also slept on top of the bed next to tori last night so she wasn’t in between the mattress and the wall. She head bumped me a couple times and nuzzled me a lot. She is such a doll oh my gosh I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter girl. I have to figure out how to post the pictures I took onto here. I just thought I would give you an update 🙂
Yay!!!!! You did good Mary Anne! Be proud of all your hard work, it has paid off!

OMG Naomi, you just melted all of us into one big mushy awwwwww!!! would love to see pictures, maybe you can email to Mary Anne and she can post them for you. So glad to hear Pretty Girl in an awesome happy furever home!
