Do you know the brand name of the pet safe screen? I am about to screen in a back porch and planned on using both chicken wire and aluminum screen. I would rather use a pet safe screen.
We get it at Home Depot and it is just labeled Pet Proof Screen. If you are in an area with wildlife (specifically coons) use glavanized chicken wire and this is why. Coons are smart, what they will do it climb up a wire screen and pee on the wire. It corrodes three times faster with coon pee then cat pee. Once it is corroded, they chew their way through it and can harm your cats and eat all the food. They can’t do that with galvanized wire. I learned this first hand this year.
