Here is Juno’s new pad, all mounted and ready to go. In answer to the question posted below- we used short screws to attach the plexiglass to the wood. We also braced the underside of the plexiglass with 2×2 cut to fit (in case a raccoon or another cat landed on the top. It isn’t going to break very easily now. Next photo posted will be of Juno enjoying his new digs (I hope) Just as soon as this nasty weather breaks.

Awesome craftwork! Your hubby should market this!
that is awesome, wish I had a way my cats could get outside, my yard is fenced but I live on a busy corner and I won’t let them outside in the yard.
They kitties are so lucky that they have the two of you to spoil and let you do things for them!
Nice catio. It looks like it is low enough for another kittie to jump up along side the screened area for a visit, which might be handy for everyone.
Is the latch on the ‘front door’ strong enough (and complicated enough) to keep things like squirrels and raccoons out?
It is complicated enough to keep me out! LOL Hard to latch and unlatch which is what I wanted. On my way to the vet with Cagney now- please send prayers and positive thoughts for my new chunky monkey. 🙁
An excellent arrangement. I envy you and Mike and your friends their skills.
Good luck to Cagney!
