The drop off begins

Could only trap five, they are nervous and I tried to get some photos of them as they were let out into their new world. They are all so skinny 🙁 She set out traps for the other five as they got out during the transition

  1. Oh dear, not as easy as everyone had wanted. Hope she will be able to trap the others

  2. The missing five are still in the original cage enclosure, we hope? Would hate to think they were running around lost and loose outside.

The first five seem to be settling in OK. Might be interesting to see if they all sleep in a pile for reassurance, or all find a place to hide for safety.

purrrrrrrsss that everyone gets moved soonest.

  3. I told her she is welcome to visit any time, but her life is changing in such a major way, I doubt she will be coming around more than once or twice. My hope is to work with these guys and find them homes. The one cat Juniper has a long-standing URI so bad he actually sprays mucous on the walls. She said no vet has ever been able to stop it and many have tried. I don’t know about that, but my heart broke listening to him try and breathe. It’s pretty bad and he will go to my feline specialist next week. He also has no teeth- they were removed a few years ago. He is 17? I think

  4. Sending prayers for our purr friends, for you, and for this woman whom you can tell just adores these fur babies. It is very heartbreaking to see the goodbyes being given. Luck to you all and God be with you!

  5. Greatest weekend of posts I’ve ever seen! The place looks great. Once settled, the new cats will be happy & safe. Good thoughts for 5 more coming soon. I thought it was a closing rescue, so no kitties should be hungry or in need of vet quite yet. But maybe it was just a lady in dire need of your help. Either way, I’m very grateful for your kindness to others.
