I have to say that my latest ad has given me more positive results than any other. I am so tired of driving around (Mike says I am a driven person) but all these cats now have their own loving family (even McGee who is 7 years old) The woman, a retired schoolteacher, wanted an older cat for her senior Russian Blue she settled for Tover who is 3 years old.
Google now has two twin boys to love on her goodness and McGee is being enjoyed by a empty nester preparing for the departure of her daughter to college in a few days.
I took Ash with me on a potential adoption but she got so carsick in the cat carrier- I felt so sorry for her- she is the first one I have ever had that got carsick. So she came home (because she smelled a bit fragrant) and I went back with Harper her brother and he got adopted instead.
I guess I will take her off the potential adoption list. I don’t think they make enough FeBreeze to cover her next car trip!
Cheeers for everyones noo furrrefer homes.
Could Ash see outside from in the carrier? Not sure if it really helps or not, but we’ve heard that if the kittie can see out the window, they don’t get (as?) carsick. Not sure it helps, not sure you can arrange it anyway, but something maybe to try.
My mom had a kitty that got car sick unless she let him outside the carrier in the car. Not sure why that was but it worked.
Agreed. I would take two carriers and put the carrier with my Angel on top of the empty one. She was fascinated and watched everything out the windsheild. I clicked the shoulder harness about the carrier and we were off! She was happier, didn’t get sick and never cried during a car trip again.

I wouldn’t take Ash off your list. It may have been nerves during her first trip, it may have been too many cats, or being cooped up in the carrier. It’s just a minor disadvantage for that wonderful cat.
Poor Angel….we agree – keep her on the list, just let people know that cars aren’t her thing.
YEAH for adoptions!!
