To be responsible for such room-wide destruction and chaos! These are only three of the 12 guilty ones who destroyed our bedroom last night! I went in there this morning and the door was blocked shut. Thankfully, we have three doors to our master bedroom and I was able to gain access and then wished I hadn’t bothered! Furniture was upended, clothes scattered, socks were everywhere. I am at fault- because I was so tired last night, instead of putting our clothes away, I left them in a pile on the bed. Guess the kitties thought mom needed help in putting away the clothes. Only problem is now I have to wash them all over again.
Clara and Amelia managed to escape from yet another cage, so I had to put them in a carrier. They are not happy- but at least they are safe as the motherless kittens are growing so fast and finding their testosterone and moxy. The carrier is big enough for our shepherd so hopefully, the two kittens will adjust to it soon.
They go back to the vet today for a recheck. I am concerned with the fact that they don’t really have a voice (smoke inhalation?) and they both are still chuffing especially after they eat. I have concerns about their poop but that could just be worms- so will let Dr. Steve figure it all out.
Clara and Amelia are burn pile kitties, then? If you introduced them we seem to have missed it.

PS: We suspect looking cute and innocent evolved as a survival trait for kittens and puppies both. Ogden Nash had it completely backwards.
Yes, Amelia and Clara are the surviving burn pile kittens. Their sister Sophie did not make it she passed the first night she arrived here.

yep – I have discovered the amount of trouble they can create is exponentially higher the cuter they are. 🙂 Oh well – you are saving lives and they had a good time – what is a little laundry compared to that.
