12 Pounds of Glory-Bee

Meet Dr. Steve, the best cat vet in the county. Even he was impressed with how “nice” Glory actually is to everyone. They took blood and she tested negative! YAY! She is of course loaded with parasites, but other than that- they found a spay scar! Yippee! And she has a mild yeast infection in her ears-

No other health issues and Bristol is now in a new loving home and Glory is in the bedroom, allowing Marlow and her family to have all the upstairs to themselves-

  1. Any chance the white kittens will have Siamese markings? Oooooh, I so love kittens! This year we haven’t had any and, no matter how much trouble they are, I miss having them… Too bad you’re in Oregon and I’m in Tennessee.

  2. A spay scar?! My faith in humanity is restored! And very nice to hear Bristol found her family. Maybe Marlow can relax now and tend the little ones.

  3. Dr. Steve you are awesome!!!! Thank you for all you do just like our cat whisperer MaryAnne. A good day then! No bad news, it’s all good! God is truly good!

  4. I haven’t been able to get that close to them yet. The tuxedo always spits and hisses at me that just cracks me up. I do try to handle them as I want them to get used to human touch- but mom is ready to fly at me at any moment so handling is just seconds. I put one drop of advantage on each kitten this morning (they are loaded with fleas) and on the white kitties, from what I can tell- they have really small dots of black on their ears- one has a solid black ear and the tip of the tail is black as well. They are cute little bugs but I haven’t even sexed them yet! Marlow watches me like a hawk- I have to cover her with a blanket if I interact with her kittens-

  5. Oh and Katie, we LOVE finding spay scars! Glory-bee is 4 years old-but her teeth show that she had early issues with malnutrition and neglect 🙁

  6. Well Miss Glory-bee…..you are in good hands!!! Negative test and spay scar – two less things to worry about. 🙂 Now if you could find her family – or a new one. She is a cutie and if she is that sweet, we hope it won’t take long. Purrs to Miss Marlow that she learns to trust you (Tommy says try cheese – haha).

  7. Yay for good news and hello to Dr. Steve – he looks so kind! Bless him for the care he gives your cats.

  8. From those pictures so far it looks like Marlow has at least two pointed kittens. I can’t wait to see them as their eyes open and they begin moving around. Even if you can’t touch them yet just hearing your voice helps to socialize them too.

I remember one little pointed kitten (Taylor) in my last feral group that hissed at me before her eyes were open. She turned out to be a really sweet lover girl.

Miss Glory is certainly a beautiful girl. I sure hope her owners turn up.

  9. What a wonderful cat Glory-Bee is. Yes, she must have come from some family or loving individual. If not, then someone is going to be a lucky cat-owner soon.
