YIPE! I just bought two bags of Purina One cat food, mostly for the outside (semi-feral) kitties. That is what I’ve been feeding them all winter. Everyone is still doing OK, but I’m wondering if I need to dump that and go get something else.
This may just be regional. I just took all my bags and dumped them into large containers and saw nothing out of the ordinary. It could be that the person who is storing the food is at fault and the maker of the food. Purina website states nothing about a food recall. They are very professional about all aspects of their food prep. I have toured their factory in the past. Just keep your eyes opened and watch expiration dates on the bags too-
