Well, he pulled it out and passed it on to this little girl! Her temp was down from 104.7 to 100.8! She ate all the food that the vet gave her to sample and for that reason he does not wish to give up on her yet. He said he wants to try her on some medication and special food and then if there is no change, he will opt for the more expensive bloodwork that would test for trich, salmonella, giardia, bartonella, pasturella and other bacterial infections. She got another panalog enema (poor kitty) and a bath of her back legs and now she is home and eating. Here’s hoping this new course of action will turn the tide on Google and her life subscrption won’t be cancelled!
Such good news! I’ve been checking in since mid-afternoon – wanting to know what the vet said and afraid at the same time. Woo hoo! This is better than I expected. Dear little cat is in good, helping hands – and yours.
Wonderful news!!! Sending more prayers and hope to you and Google!
Keep going, Google!
Oh, that is so great to hear. Hugs & Good thoughts to you and her.
Wonderful news…hoping she will continue to improve! Go – Go – Google!
How is google doing today? Just checking
She is eating as if she has a hole in her stomach. She is active and vocal a far cry from what she was yesterday. I started her on Culturell until her other drug arrives the Synacore. She seems to be doing better, but I took Pearl in today to be spayed so I haven’t had time to check Google’s litter pan. I am hoping she is having normal activity
Fingers crossed that she’ll continue to do better. I almost lost my last feral rescue to something similar, so I’ll hope for the best
fingers crossed…..
