Unfortunately, they were not sleeping- they were attacking! What is it about feet that kittens are so attracted to? (And please don’t tell me they smell!) I did take a shower!
Even through all the blankets the attacks were intense and I tried to withstand it- but their teeth and claws did me in!
This is the first time they have actually come out from under the bed and they have only been in the bedroom now for four days. I wrangled them from upstairs recently- that was fun! NOT! LOL
Here are Sahara, Cooper and Jackson. Fawn is still camera shy-
If they’ve come out from under the bed, that’s progress – even if they’ve come out only to attack!
I think it was on your blog that I read, or you had a link to, a cure for ringworm. It was an extract from a seed (?). This was some time ago. Do you know of anything like that? The lady at Random Felines is having a problem with ringworm, and I thought I’d suggest it.
I don’t recall anything unless it was a comment made by someone who read something about ringworm on my blog? I will do a quick search and be right back.
Ok, all I am finding is that I first wrote about Ringworm in July of 2009 (on the 21st) Other than that, i don’t show anything. There are countless remedies for ringworm on the Internet that are dangerous to the cat- one I found even suggested putting bleach on the fungus! NOT a good idea. You can buy the ointment at the dollar store that cures athlete foot and put a small amount on the spots- that is according to my vet.
First and Foremost – those are the most gorgeous kittens in the world! I wish I was close to you! I would take one of two of those.
On the ringworm, I thought I saw something on a blog somewhere recently as well. But I can offer this. I adopted a young cat many years ago (RIP _ Jack) who was probably about a year old. He had ringworm right on the top of his head. The rescuer I got him from was using over the counter “monistat” cream, applied topically to the ringworm. Yes, Monistat is the treatment for female “vaginal” yeast infections. She sent the monistat home with me, and I applied it for 2-3 days more and it cleared it right up. Shortly after a friend of mine had a Siamese who got ringworm. I brought the Monistat to my friend, and it worked like a charm on his Siamese.
One of the kittens may become a snowshoe if the markings on the face are correct for it.
