Here he is and he will go to the vet tomorrow morning. You can see in the photo how his one paw is quite swollen but his fever is getting under control. This morning, he is guarded and growly quite different from when he first arrived but that is to be expected. Other than giving him his food and pills today- I will just leave him alone and let him decompress-
If you haven’t already figured this out Sinclair is a chocolate lynx point LH mix. He could be a pet quality Himalayan but most likely is mixed breed. He is beautiful. I had a boy like him many years ago named Haberdasher. I miss him to this day.
Hope his paw heals quickly.
Andrea,
Thank you, I thought he had the look and temperment of a pedigreed but wasn’t sure. Today he is a bit anxious with me- I suspect because his fever broke and he is getitng back to the reality of the situation of being a strange place that smells like a lot of cats! But he did again allow me to scrub out his wounds without complaint. I do it gently but am mindful that he might bite me. I checked to see if he was declawed- thankfully he has all his weapons intact and sheathed (right now) LOL
he is beautiful…..glad he is (mostly) behaving….he must know he is in good hands!
