They will be performing surgery on MIke today at noon. This morning, he tells me the surgeon and two assistants came in to talk with him. Then they asked him if he would be offended if they prayed over him! They all joined hands and prayed for clear focus, skilled hands and for God’s healing to start before the operation begins! He is not in a religious hospital, it is an acute, secular one. But I know it was no accident that we fell into these capable hands,
And on that note- I am both grateful to all who stepped forward during these trying, financial times and gave to the cats- and I am humbled at how many of you there were!
Bless You ALL- I will be able to stay in good standing with my vet as I had feared they were going to tell me to go elsewhere next time one of my cats needs help
I will be keeping Mike in my thoughts and prayers today.. Update when you can.
Purrrraying for the doc’s, you, and Mike.
ppuurrrrrrrrrr
It’s good to find doctors who still believe that someone else is God. Good luck and healing thoughts to you and Mike.
logging in at the hospital. he has been in surgery now over two hours and they just came out to get additional consent for more surgery. They have had to remove the outer bone of his foot (due to infection) they took his little toe as well. They re-routed the tendon to add stability and then they took a look at the fracture area- seems not only did he fracture his fibula but he disrupted his ligaments between the bones. now they have to do what they did not wish to do which is set the bone with screws, plates and bolts and leave it an open area which puts him up for major infection. but they said they have no choice and so I signed the consent. he will be in the surgery for another few hours and I will update when i finally get back home. anyone reading this please pray for the surgeons and for mike
