Just drove over 200 miles to deliver a black kitten to a loving, forever home. This kitty is going to be so loved though he will have to get used to a cockatoo and a parrot. But the husband and wife have a lot of love to give, and when I left, kitty was getting lots of love and hugs from the new members of his family. This is Tover’s brother that left here.
The new kitty in the bedroom (whisper) is psycho kitty I swear! Goes from loving and wanting pet rubs one minute to hissing, swatting and biting the next. She isn’t feral but she is sure grumpy growly. I ended up with putting the screen door between the hallway and the kitchen back up so the other cats can’t come and visit at her door. That seems to have settled her down for now. Evn withthe protective shield on the bottom of the screen door of the bedroom, the other cats set Whisper off like nothing I have ever encountered before. Silly kitty!
congrats on the adoption. 🙂 We have a crabby foster baby right now…. love them no matter what. MOL
I’m so glad to hear that the black kitty got a good loving forever home! It’s awesome that you drove so far to give that kitty a family, it’s really very touching 🙂
It sounds like Whisper needs to be adopted into a home where she’s the only kitty there (I’m assuming you’re adopting her out? I just started reading your blog, so forgive me, please, if I’m wrong).
Purrs 🙂
Actually, I am boarding Whisper or so the story goes. 🙂 The people were found by the housing authority to have a cat which is against the rules. They have two small children and were going to get evicted. I told them I would take her until they find another place to live. It is supposed to be in May- but we will see.
